Junior 3D Designer

We make XR and web products — visual, technical, built to ship. We're looking for a junior designer to work within our 3D asset pipeline — someone with a good eye who is still developing their technical skills. The technical side can be developed here. What we hire for is the instinct that makes that development worth something.

Abstract 3D modeling

The Role

Day to day, you'll take concept direction and reference material and turn it into clean, optimized geometry ready for real-time environments. The work is detailed and iterative. We care about scale, proportion, and material — and we'll expect you to as well.

The team is small and feedback is direct. We expect you to still be learning — that's fine. What matters most is noticing when something is off and caring enough to fix it.

Requirements

  • 01

    Eye for composition and light

    You read a scene and know what's off — proportion, contrast, shadow placement. Spatial sensibility is a plus.

  • 02

    Clean modeling and optimization

    Proficiency in non-destructive workflows, efficient UV mapping, and keeping geometry purposeful rather than bloated.

  • 03

    Tool fluency

    Experience with Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya. Knowledge of the Substance Suite is a plus.

  • 04

    Real-time awareness

    You understand how assets behave in engine — in Unity, Unreal, or Three.js — and design with those constraints in mind from the start.

Job Description

3D asset creation and optimization for XR and web — modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and real-time pipeline preparation.

Salary

From ¥200,000 / month

* Based on experience and ability / 6-month probationary period

Raises & Allowances

Discretionary raises, bonus twice a year, various allowances

Working Hours

9:00–18:00 (1 hour break)

* Flexible arrangements available for part-time and casual staff

Holidays & Leave

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; year-end and New Year; maternity and parental leave; ceremonial and bereavement leave; paid leave
